“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

We all know the story of creation. In 6 days, God creates this amazing world we live in. Then on day 7 he rests.

When was the last time you read this story in your Bible? In my daily reading of the Bible, I read the story of creation for the first time in quite a long time. One thing really stood out. Seed-bearing plants.

God commands humans to do just three things once He created us. Be fruitful, take care of all the animals, and eat from the  seed-bearing plants. The third thing God says to mankind is diet advice.

But what are seed bearing plants? Well, they are plants the bear seeds. Pretty easy right? In elementary school, we learned that fruits are grown from seeds. But not all fruit grows from trees.
