This might be one of the main reasons why people don’t eat turkey bacon. It seems like every time I get turkey bacon in a restaurant it’s limp and flavorless.
Well not anymore!
I have perfected the art of turkey bacon, making it crispy and flavorful.
First, you need the right turkey bacon. This method of cooking will work with any brand but the national brand I like the best is Oscar Myers.
Once you have the bacon you’re going to put 2-4 slices in a pan on the stove top. once the pan is on the stove top turn the stove on to med-high heat.
It’s just a waiting game now. every few, 2-3 min, flip the bacon. You’re waiting for the bacon to look cooked. You will notice that the bacon is limp. So how do we make it crispy?
Take your “cooked” bacon and place all of them on a paper towel. put that paper towel in the microwave. and power up for 30 sec. This takes all the moisture out of the turkey bacon. making it crispy and condensing the flavor.
